Why would a rich person waste time writing a book to help other people get rich? Two reasons. Because I enjoy writing about something I feel I know about. And because I believe that almost anyone of reasonable intelligence can become rich, given sufficient motivation and application.

As a practicing clinical psychiatrist for more than twenty years before going into executive coaching and consulting, I used different parts of my brain/mind whenever I was evaluating a patient for a medication vs. empathizing with their internal world. Maybe others could do it, but in all those years I never fully integrated the evaluative and empathic ways of listening to people, but I was able to coordinate them. Over time, I was able to empathize with patients and “feel” what they felt and then could pause, change gears and know what medication might help ease the way they made me feel.

You likely know someone who is a great at manifesting. You may even have felt somewhat jealous of that person because it appears they have everything, seemingly getting these things with little effort as if they were born under a lucky star. Well, it may be that they very well were born with the knowledge of manifesting already intact. I say this because I believe once we learn something in another life (Yes, I believe in past lives, parallel existences) it is not lost, and that we can choose to bring those talents with us as we move into a new life experience.

Its been a couple weeks since I have thrown some thoughts your way, and while working out tonight on the elliptical, while reading a great book, I came across some great thoughts.

One. Whatever you think about, either positive or negative… the more of that you get in your life. This goes for things that you think that you WANT, and for things that you think that you DON’T want. Regardless, you are gonna get more of what you place your focus on. It is the Law of Attraction.

Right now, DON’T think of the color blue. Just dont think of that color, think of any color except Blue. Its nearly impossible.

If you are always thinking “Why cant I attract the person of my dreams? Why can’t I find someone to love me? Why do I always mess up these relationships?” You are going to be attracted to more of the same.
