Leaving San Francisco a Better Person

by Travis Wright

Or, at least I like to think so. In the 8 days that I have been in San Francisco, California, I have talked to over 100 people from many different walks of life. I’ve talked to multi-millionaires, as I met several CEOs and thought leaders of the future of the internet. I have talked with many homeless people, including a ‘heirophant’ and another gentlemen that has lived homeless and wayfaring from place to place since early 1967.

And to each of the people I met, I handed them my card that says Cultivate Greatness on it. This fact remains, when you send happiness and friendliness with you, you get it in return.

So I had two days to play around in SF. Yesterday, I go to Alcatraz, and see how much of a bummer it would have been for those staying in those 5×9 rooms that were 7 feet tall. Poor Al Capone. Poor Machine Gun Kelly. Going out to the recreation area and seeing on the horizon a busy happening, San Francisco and both bay bridges.

Later on, I stumbled upon Haight and Ashbury in San Francisco on Friday, April 20th. Lots of hippies and alternative culturists out and about. Apparently, a pot smokers holiday is the day April 20th. And at 4:20 in the afternoon, that time is especially celebratory. Looking at my watch, 4:19, I grabbed a piece of chalk that was on the sidewalk and wrote the message.

Everyone was amazingly friendly, and I noticed zero fights or disputes. It was like a pot smoker utopia or something. It is nearly indescribable. But nonetheless, I talked with several people, from all walks of life and passed on the message of cultivating greatness.

This website and my moral compass is to ‘Cultivate Greatness’ in my life, and to help as many people as I can with that message. This trip has allowed me to connect with over 100 people and share the knowledge. And with that, those hundreds of people have shared with me, knowledge.

Knowledge and blessings are the gift of God. What we do with the blessings and knowledge is up to us. Recognize the opportunity, begin to bless others, and business will boom.

Much love,

Travis Wright
