Why It is So Difficult to Live at Maximum Power…and How You Can Turn Your Inner Darkness to Your Positive Advantage.

By Jorj Elprehzleinn

Now I am going to talk about something that is the last thing that you would want to talk about. Your dark side (notice I didn’t say I would talk about mine:)

“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”
—Jesus Christ, the Gospel of St. Thomas

The darkness we have within us is what psychologist Carl Jung calls”our shadow”. A person may consider these aspects of them self bad, evil, or unwanted. After all, that is what darkness is right?

The archetypal belief that dark equals evil makes it difficult to gain power from the darkness within. For if you do, then social ideas about right and wrong, good and bad can restrain your passions and deepest inspirations.

The purpose of my writing today, is to ask you this question: What is it that you might have locked away inside of you that you would not like it to see the light of day? These are the very things that properly cared for and nurtured could be the source of some of your greatest power for good.

In your quest to discover them you must venture with light into your own darkness. This is a task that naturally we are not inclined to do. Read more

Law of Attraction in the Mental World

April 12, 2023

By Tamir Qadree

The life that we know is governed and operated by immutable laws. These laws are backed by one great life force or the great ALL! Its manifestations are unlimited, yet many people totally ignore this great power, these great laws and this all powerful, all present, all knowing, GREAT ALL.
Law of Attraction
We (some of us) understand the law of gravity, or similar laws, but fail to understand or give credence to the powerful Law of Attraction in the mental world, or thought world. While we acknowledge the laws that pull and hold planets in orbits, and keeps water on the surface for the most part, we, at the same time, are doubtful and choose to ridicule the law that brings us our hearts desire and delight.

Thoughts have magnet like powers, drawing to us whatever we think, ponder or desire with feeling and longing. This great force creates world, mold destines and build great structures and machines, which travel to outer space and beyond. We are speaking of a magnificent force to be admired; a force that must inspire greatness in all who realize even a atoms worth of its superior ability. Thoughts are a wonderful force, creative stuff and have genius and magic in it. Thought is the real maker and fashioner of life and of all the goodies we seek.

Top Ten Tips for Meditation

April 8, 2023

By R.Pettinger

Meditation can simplify our lives and help us live in the eternal now. When we enter into real meditation we experience a real sense of peace and joy. To gain access to this inner reality meditation is necessary. These are some tips to help improve our meditation.
personal development
1. Proper Breathing. If we can carefully regulate our breathing this will be a great aid to our meditation. When we slow down and become conscious of our breathing, the mind naturally slows down and it is easier to control our thoughts. When we meditate our breath should be so gentle that if someone placed a feather by our mouth it would barely move.

2. Stop Thoughts entering. This is often easier said than done. However it is the essence of meditation. If we can learn to stop our mind from pursuing endless thought then we will be able to enter into real mediation; real meditation is inner silence. Sri Chinmoy says the essence of meditation is

“When we meditate we empty our minds and then fill our minds with something divine.” (1)

3. Mantra. The use of mantra can be of great help in quietening the relentless noise of the mind. A mantra is a sacred word or phrase repeated many times. By repeating a mantra we calm the mind and also make it one pointed. After chanting a mantra meditation will be easier.

Your Addictions Tell You, ‘You’ll Never Get Enough of What You Don’t Want”

April 7, 2023

ARTICLE DISCLAIMER From Travis… “Hey all, this article is so amazing, that I actually typed this entry in from Wayne Dyer’s Book, Being in Balance, to give you this excerpt. It is such a nugget of wisdom, that I just had to share it. If you like it, support the author by grabbing any of his eleventy billion awesome books that he has written on the subject of Personal Development.

Balancing your Desire for what you want, with Your Addictive Behavior
personal development
By Wayne Dyer

If I were to rate the nine habits discussed in this book, “Being in Balance” this one might get the prize for being the most unbelievable. ‘Spending out precious life energy chasing after something we don’t want, and never getting enough of whatever it is that we’re relentlessly pursuing!’ Fortunately, this is one imbalance that’s relatively easy to correct, despite all we’ve been told about conquering addictions.

“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again.” -Porverbs 24:16

The concept of FIGHTING and CONQUERING addiction is the wrong approach- I believe that we need to begin by removing those words from our vocabulary. Martin Luther King Jr., once remarked that the only way to convert an enemy to a friend is through love, not hatred or fithing.

We Don’t Conquer Anything, and There’s Nothing to Fight

Consider the results we’ve achieved when we’ve tried to fight something in order to conquer it. For example, ever since war was declared on poverty, theres more of it in the world than ever. Our wars on drugs have only served to triple our prison populations and bring illegal substances to more people at younger ages. [As early as junior high school, there's hardly a child who doesn't know how to acquire all manner of drugs.]

Our wars on crime have resulted in more criminals, more fear, more surveillance, more distrust, and more abuse by law-enforcement personnel. Our war on terror has turned us into people who behave toward those we label terrorists in ways that emulate the terrorism we;re supposedly desirous of eliminating. When war was officially declared on Iraq, America became more hated, and the number of people signing up to become suicide bombers multiplied dramatically. And our wars on cancer, obesity, and hunger have not eliminated those conditions either. Read more
