I was over at a Japanese friend’s house the other night and he started to show me how to make origami with Japanese money. We were having a great time when he said, “The only problem is that there is no tipping in Japan. When I was In the US, I would fold the dollar bills there and leave them as tips. It was so much fun watching the waitresses when they went to gather the tips. I miss doing that.”

That’s when it occurred to me that it really would be fun to leave your tips as origami. At the very least you would leave an impression and likely the people at the restaurant would remember you from that day forward whenever you came in. So here are five origami that should leave a lasting impression when you leave a tip:

One of my good friends dropped by the other day to say hey… and gave me a book that he thought I should read, called “The Next Millionaires” by Paul Zane Pilzer.

Pilzer is an economist that accurately predicted the boom of the 90’s whereas many others had this ‘doom and gloom’ approach.

Ten million new millionaires will be created between 2006-2016, and The Next Millionaires explains how you can become one of them-especially if you are in direct selling, technology, home-based business, product distribution, or an emerging trillion-dollar industry like wellness…. I would also think bloggers will be a part of this as well, considering Google pays out nearly 2 Billion in AdSense revenue every quarter. Cha-ching!

How This Blog Attracted 100,000 Visitors in the First 30 Days

October has been a great month. In all facets of my life, I have noticed improvement. In health, mind, spirit, relationships, and business. I find myself becoming more focused with my eyes on the prize of life. Regardless of whatever obstacles that I encounter, they are no match for the flow. Fun thing is, the flow is just state of mind.

For one, at the first of the month, I left a position with a Fortune 500 company, that I couldnt stand. It was stunting my professional and personal growth. So, I sent out into the universe the thought of creating a position for myself that will move me along the path of personal development, one that will help me with my book and public speaking career. Voila! I scored a dream position with a computer training institute here in Kansas City as a Technical Trainer. I will work about 2.5 weeks a month teaching students on Adobe and Macromedia products. My public speaking career has begun. This is exciting. This stuff works.

Any entrepreneur’s goal is to no longer work for someone else, and to move forward with our own business ideas. When you work for someone else, you are exchanging time for dollars. Most of us aren’t fortunate enough to 100% completely work for ourselves, which is a sad deal. Our children grow so fast, and yet most of us are gone from the home from 7am until around 6pm, five days a week… giving time to your employer in exchange for a paycheck. This is a cycle that we need to break free from. How do we get out of this cycle? We ask ourselves better questions.

I first got online in 1996 at the University of Kansas Computer Center. Within one week I had built a website to promote my then stand-up comedy aspirations. I needed some promotion, so how can I make this happen? Wow, a website! So, I dabbled in all the development programs.

What else can I learn? How else can I promote myself?
